After Kerr disapproved this potential move, and the Cavaliers offered a package built around Andrew Wiggins (the number one overall pick in the NBA Draft of 2014_) Love was shipped to Cleveland. Thompson signed a 5 year extension worth $70 million with Golden State Warriors shortly after his name was thrown around in the trade rumors. Thereby, with everything in the right place, GS Warriors are all set for 2014-15 season. The Challenge to Victory and Upset Through 20 games, GS Warriors have proved that they can overcome major injuries to key players and that Kerry can hold his position as the league's head. Out of all this Curry has emerged as the team's one of the best point guards and as NBA's one of the best overall players. Through 20 games his points, assists and steals per game all rank in the league's top 1-. His 5.1 rebound/game ranks second amongst all the point guards. These have made him the most valuable player in the team and the league. He is also a favorite for the NBA's MVP award. Kerr had a great influence on the Warriors' players. In addition, Curry's performance continues to bring a sudden impact to the court.
